Riga

I got back from Riga Sunday evening. It was pretty great! The synod welcomed me so very warmly that I felt right at home. Thank you! And our keynote speaker Hugh Rayment-Pickard was absolutely brilliant. If you ever come accross his book The Inclusive God (together with Steven Shakespeare) do take a closer look.
I'll write more later but here are a couple of pictures for now.

Spring in Riga. Isn't it beautiful?

The soup kitchen of St. Saviour's Anglican Church in the Old Town of Riga (the people in the picture are synod members).

The honorable synod :) with the wonderful vicar of St. Saviour's, Dr. Juris Cãlitis trying to get people to fit into the frame.

Our hotel, yes, to the left. To my shame I don't know the name of the Orthodox Church to the right.
