She turned!

Here we are: today Lotta turned on her own to her stomach - four times and counting! :) Yesterday we could see that she had figured out how to get the second hand from under her when she turns but she still couldn't do the whole manouvre. Now she's got it all. She's very pleased with herself :) and we're very proud of her. I managed to video the fourth turn but it's over 100 Mt and hence I can't post it here. The very first one I missed but her daddy tells me it happened at 6.50 p.m. (I was napping...) I also have a video of her almost getting there and then not quite concentrating long enough after which she lands back on her back, the poor pet. The photos above are of her after she'd turned the third time around. I just had to sit and admire the second!

We went to grandma and grandpa's Saturday before going to Lotta's cousin's birthday. The duvet - actually a sleeping bag for a pram - is pure vintage and was originally Husband's. Now his daughter gets to use it whenever we visit.

We've learnt something else, too: thumb sucking rocks! I'm not too surprised that Lotta loves it since I loooooved sucking my thumb as a child.

Here we are on our way back home. Lotta had had her evening nap at her cousin's so she was awake the whole one and half hours back home. With her ball and play giraffe she took it very calmly and didn't really need mommy to sit beside her at all. Mostly she seemed to think it weird that I was there, too. I usually sit in the front.
