6 months!

Can't believe it but Lotta is today 6 months old! The poor baby celebrated her half a year birthday by getting her very first cold last night. She's got a very runny nose and she spent a lot of the day sleeping. It didn't stop her from being in a very sociable and good mood, though :).

Now she is in her crib but she keeps waking up to check that I come in to make soothing noises if she makes noises herself. She has lately unfortunately been waking up every hour or every hour and a half from midnight on so that her longest period of sleep tends to be between 9 p.m. and midnight. I'm getting exhausted since it never was like this even when she was just born. However I knew to expect it since I'd read that at half a year babies have a phase when they stop sleeping well. How long it lasts is the bit I don't recall reading about.

Tomorrow we go to neuvola to get the latest statistics. Monday we got good news when we went for our 6 month checkup at the University hospital. She has no allergies up till now. Yay! :) We've also started solids. Pear, GOOD! Carrot ok'ish. Mango, yak! Porrige, very good!
