On Saturday our family went shopping. It all started with little girl getting the sniffles and me getting a cold in addition to which little girl still continues to wake up several times a night. We wanted to go see if we could find an affordable crib which would have the option of pushing one side down to make it easier to get the baby in and out of the crib during the night. Didn't get that.
We did, however, get her a chair to sit in when she's fed - calling it a high chair seems a bit odd since it isn't particularily high :). The point of the one we got is that it grows with your baby so that she always reaches the table and has proper support for her legs. I originally wanted a traditional one and Husband whose brother's family i.e. little girl's cousins have two Tripp trapps wanted a Tripp trapp chair by Stokke.
We didn't get the Stokke one since the one by Emma we now have is actually better for us: it is lighter and easier to move and we thought that the legs of the chair are actually better in this one - you don't trip on them quite so easily ;). The Emma version also had the added bonus of being 100€ cheaper.
Little girl is still a bit too small so that her feet don't reach where they should but they will in due course. We don't use the chair too often, yet, since she hasn't yet learnt to sit up on her own but we got the go ahead from neuvola to let her sit in it as long as she supports herself properly. Mostly she does, too.

The second purchase an Emmaljunga stroller. I hadn't realized how awful our stroller was to manouvre before I helped our friend LA to move their Emmaljunga and had an epiphany. It was so light, so easy, so incredibly movable. So, we had a serious talk at home about getting a new stroller since they aren't exactly cheap in the first place and Emmaljungas particularily. But since we or rather I use the stroller a lot and this is a duo so it'll become a buggy when it's time we decided we would go ahead with a new stroller. Little girl will most likely be taking her naps in it all the way to her third birthday. This being Finland our babies often sleep outside on the yard or on the balcony, warmly wrapped, of course.
I absolutely L O V E the stroller It's soooooooo much more convenient than our other one. It's light, the baby is easier to put into it, there's much more room for her inside it, the sides are hard so that when we go shopping I can just place the shopping basket on top of the carrycot, there's lots of room under for the groceries, it's easier to put in the car, the baby sleeps much more soundly in it since it goes so smoothly and I am not alltogether displeased with the color :). This one was the only one that they had in the store that would fit in our elevator and it was on sale which was a huge blessing.

congratulations to your new stroller, I am sure, it is the best you can do. Your Godson took his naps in it nearly until his second birthday!
