On the way to the sandbox
The weather has been remarkably nice ! To the point that I'm starting to hope for a little less warmth. Sunshine, that I'd like to keep, thank you very much, but a little cooler would be nice. It is fall after all!
Our whole family has had colds this past week but it was the easiest cold ever. Husband had it worst and little girl and I felt obligated to join him ;) but ours really weren't much to mention. Now Husband and little girl are fine but mine still lingers on in the form of sniffles.
On Saturday little girl's friend little mr. S (little girl calls him Sammu) turned three! It was a really nice party and I was very pleased to see how much he liked our gift. His Mama told us that in the morning he'd wished for a steamroller and we'd gotten him Roley from Bob the builder. Yay! I had the camera with us but as I was about to take photos it kindly but firmly infromed me that the battery needs to be changed. Thus, no photos in this blog but here are some really nice ones.

I came across you blog quite by accident entering "Turku New Year" into Google to see what it's like, since that's when we're visiting my dad again. That was a month ago and I've returned a couple of times since then just trying to get up the courage to write. I like the kind and honest way you write about yourself and your family. I smiled at some of the things you said (like thinking too far ahead about major events), because I'm the same way. You have a beautiful daughter, by the way, and I wish you and your family continued happiness in the future. And since I like the blog so much, I'll be sure to visit again. :-)
