We have lift off!

So, yesterday it was time to go to the doctor's again. Husband came with me (his boss was kind to let him do so). We saw the heart beat! The little one is now 1,1cm from head to bottom :) and a bit over 7 weeks old. Words fail me. I had been so worried that I'd managed to get Husband worried, too, and that's not an easy thing to accomplish. When everything was exactly as it should the only thing I could do was to burst into tears - and go have a piece of strawberry cake :).
The doctor told us that there is now a 95% chance of everything going all right, in that the pregancy will be full term. I like those odds very much. The due date is estimated to be March 30th or 31st. We hope for junior's sake it isn't April 1st since we foresee quite a lot of April fool's jokes in his/her life if it is. On the other hand, junior might like that :).
Since this blog is not really about my rapidly expanding waistline I'm going to try to keep the baby talk to a minimum but I thought you might like to hear where we are right now.
