Winter wonderland - for a day

Saturday morning around 8 am, All Saints' Day, the view from our windows (8th floor :)).

Wednesday November 7th around noon.

The seasons are great BUT one would like them to follow their designated order. All the way to Monday it seemed promising but then it started raining again and we're back to greeen grass! I mean seriously this is November! Not that anyone is impressed by the following comment but I'd still like to go on record and say that I think Global warming sucks! I miss proper winters and tons and tons of snow, sniff.
Seriously though, as we're now half way through with the pregnancy I'm about to start bying durable diapers (cloth diapers) 2-3 each month to have enough once the baby is here and checking this link will explain why. Obviously washing the diapers is not without its drawbacks when it comes to energy use but nontheless it seems the better option. And the thing is that they are also usually better for the baby's bum :).
Talking about the baby's bum, we go tomorrow morning to our second ultrasound where we'll hear the latest in his/her development - head to bum measurement included. Hopefully we'll also get to hear if we're having a girl or a boy. The most important thing for us is, though, that we hear where we're at now. We're of course praying that everything is fine but with our resent scare about the blood test results we're no longer quite that certain. So, if you feel like saying a little prayer for us please do.
Fortunately Husband takes these things very calmly. I don't know how I would be able to go through all this without him, he really is God's biggest most lovely miracle in my life which is of course why it is such a huge blessing to be having a baby together. Sorry about getting mushy but it's almost Father's Day, too :).
