Pink is the color of the day :). We especially loved the flowers from Lotta's great aunt. She is as close to Lotta as her maternal grandma as possible since my own mom has already passed away. The photo does not do the arrangement justice but there is a bigger bouqet and a smaller one attached to each other with a pink ribbon. It is so sweet!



Long nails like new borns often have. We have to keep her hands covered for the first two weeks so that she doesn't scratch herself since you can't clip them quite yet. The mitten type of bamboo cloth things are brilliant as they are wide enough for her to move her fingers but still stay put with the ribbons going around the wrist. Also, they're very soft.
The mittens do not stop her from sucking her hands as daddy is changing her diaper and she knows that after that it's milk time. To keep her calm she sucks her hands :).



First time in a sling and quite liking it. Mommy loves the closeness and at the same time freedom to use both hands, too.



Here I am, this morning. After a busy night one needs one's beauty sleep, don't you think?
