We went the University hospital Tuesday for a check up. They tell me that everything is fine with me AND I do not have diabetes. There is a risk that I'll get it within the next 5-10 years, though, but a lot has to do with our diet and the amount of excercise I get so there's much I can do. In addition, there is a small fibroid tumor that they found but for the time being its not pressing on anything and those are also bening. There is a chance it may grow once my hormons get going but for now it's just there. I'd rather it weren't but it is and that's then it, can't be helped.
Lotta's check up was then yesterday. She is now exactly 5kg and 60,2cm. She is in other words still long and somewhat underweight for her length. Something most women wouldn't mind at all :). In her case, there is no reason for concern since she is steadily gaining weight and growing and has an impressive double chin, too ;).
She also received her vary first vaccination yesterday (an oral one). It's a voluntary one (ie. not a part of the national vaccination program) and it's against the rotavirus. Since the virus causes diarrhea the side effect is then... yes, you guessed it. The great thing with this was that she was actually suffering from the very opposite condition - well, not suffering but nothin' was happenin' - and today suffice to say a LOT has been happening. Where it all comes from is beyond me :).
