Second cold

Just in case FB isn't you favourite place to be :) here's a short update. I am today at work after two days at home with little girl who seems determined to stay home because she now has a second cold. Daddy is with her today. The interval between the first one and second one was only a day (last Friday).

This new cold has been much harder on little girl  than the first one but that is of course no surpise since her body had no time to recouperate. This morning, though, she was running around happily having fun as I was trying to fix her pigtails :). I hope very much it means that she is finally on the mend.

I have a cold, too, and this resembles the one little girl had first and very much hope that I'm not about to repeat her succession of colds and get the one she now has. I'm not quite sure how we'd manage although I am sure we would given there is no other option.

Little girl has been very good humoured about it all but my lap has also been the place to be. For the past three nights we've woken up to listen to her cough for about half an hour very hard and then fall asleep again. We're all kind of tired by now. Although in all honesty this morning it seemed the only one was me and both little girl and her daddy - who had wisely opted to sleep in the study - were pretty chipper.

Anyway, must get back to doing what I can before we head to see a doctor at 5.15 pm.  There's a sermon waiting for my attention.
