Cold, part 2

A cold it is. We went to the doctor's today because yesterday it looked like she was on the mend and today she was again feeling worse. Turns out no, it isn't swine flu but she has an ear infection in both ears. I also have the same cold it seems. It's a nasty one because I usually don't get a fever as high as 38,3 with a common cold and coughing hurts like crazy. But its just a cold anyway. The doctor's description on swine flu's symptoms sounded pretty painful so I'm glad we're not having to deal with that.
It's enough that little girl's eyes are swollen, her ears are infected, her nose runs like a faucet and her temperature swings between 38,3 and 39. In my case being achy, irritable and having a nasty cough doesn't really add to the fun and games in our household. Husband is feeling under the weather, too, but it is probably the vaccination (according to the doctor).
This is the first time little girl and I have been this sick at the same time so Husband goes around trying to be helpful, offering silly suggestions but also, in fact, helping tremendously. He's been very worried and was very relieved to hear that we just have a cold.
