Five days and counting

Still here with baby on board. As opposed to yesterday I've been pretty sleepy all day despite the fact that I've slept (!) during the past three nights. Baby, on the other hand, is her usual busy self and wide awake.
I have to say I'm running out of chores to do around the house. There is of course that one closet that desperately needs reorganizing since the remnants of our home improvement project have somehow hid themselves there but, after that, I really don't know what to do. More baking maybe? The problem is that although I could, of course, take the bus to the town center and do a bit of shopping I get kind of exhausted and it is not entirely painless to move around anymore. Moreover, what if IT starts there and then? I'd make a spectacle out of myself and it's just not really something I'd enjoy...who would?
I'm bored! That's what it is. Not too much so, but still. I'm all for the baby to choose her timing - seriously, I am, it is after all her own unique birthday. It's just that moving around with this big belly has gotten a wee bit old by now. If baby has decided to wait until April Fool's just to make daddy happy since he was so disappointed when the due date was set at an earlier date way back when I am going to be very cross with the both of them! :)
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we're still in one piece and truth be told doing pretty well. I hope all of you are, too.

a tip from a mum who didn't know this at the time

take time now (if you still have it) to make sauces etc that you can heat up with pasta and eat with one hand ...

I did this for the second baby and it was the best investment of time I made ...

glad you are doing "pretty well" - you're in my thoughts. Tomorrow I go to the baby neuvola with LS and BB and LA as papa is at work. Fun. (beats proofreading and housework both of which I should be doing then!)

hugs and love xx
